When I came across 16-year-old Spanish photographer Cristina Otero’s work I contacted her immediately. Not only is she the wide eyed model in these fruit inspired photographs, she’s done her own set-up (make-up, lighting) and taken these amazing zoomed in portraits herself!
We love the range of fruits being used as a palette for the bold makeup colors and hair. She says that she loves photographing the human face because, “It’s like a dictionary of emotions and ideas.”
A great movie & a great book. For some strange reason, I really enjoy collecting maps. This one had to go up on my wall. It always makes me smile when I walk by. “To blaithe” is a powerful phrase.
